Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I was moving and everyone that promised to help backed out at the last minute.
I went into Nina's Restaurant (Alexis and Tecumseh Rd. E.) and the Owner John offered
his service to help me move. I was in tears. I was sick over the fact that I had to move in 2
days with no help. John truly is an angel ! I barely new him, I had eaten at his restaurant
a few times. Everyone that enters Nina's Restaurant is a Friend.!!
I am hoping that Windsorites will show support for John as he is now open till 8:30 p.m. with WONDERFUL home made food. I will never forget "Angel John" for how he saved my move!

Spotted: Last night at Kelsey's off Walker rd. I was on the receiving end of a very kind and generous act of kindness. I was with a large group of women celebrating a very special woman's birthday with her friends. We were having a great time and enjoying everyone's company. We had a great feast. We were all shocked and awed that a family at the table beside us had picked up the tab for the whole party. That was extremely generous and very unexpected.I just wanted to let this family know how much we all appreciated it and I wish you could have seen the look on the ladies faces when we told them they could put their money away as someone paid for their meal. We all had a discussion about random acts of kindness and how we can all pay it forward. Thank you for making a great night even better.
I've been having a rough month and it only got worse last weekend when I got word that my stepmother who lived in Texas passed away. Going through a separation and having a tough time getting through each day without breaking down. Just this Monday I parked at the River and went for a walk. I noticed no other cars in the parking lot and no one around when I took a quick look. I was walking around 1am because I couldn't sleep. I was standing at the rail looking at the River and I broke down crying and calling out why me, why is everything going so bad right now. I continued to walk and after 30 min started heading back after I calmed down a bit. When I got closer to my car I noticed a paper on my windshield and was thinking how could I get a ticket it's after 1am. As I got closer I noticed it was one of those scratch tickets which was weird and creepy at the same time. Under my wiper and the ticket there was also a small fresco receipt with writing on the other side that said "everything will get better" I looked around again and didn't notice anyone and got more scared instead of relaxed. So I got into my car and drove off. When I got home I locked my door and went to bed. The next morning I had woken up and my son was looking at the lottery ticket I had left on my table the night before. My son says mom you won 12 dollars. I didn't scratch the ticket it was already scratched when it was left on my car. I though it was a losing ticket. I though he was kidding, but turns out it was a winner. To the person or whomever placed this on my windshield I really really hope you see this. I really want you to know how much I appreciate you doing this, it was about the 12 bucks it was more about the note. Although I'm also glad you didn't try and approach me because I would have been scared shitless. I still have your note in my purse and read it almost everyday since. I've been touched by faith and hope again from this little act of kindness. So you deserve to get spotted for doing this selfless act.
Signed a lady who had much better week.

Around 4:30PM on Friday the 25th I was headed to the checkout at Shoppers at Tecumseh mall. It was the checkout where you enter the mall after leaving. I hope the lady who helped me will see this. She was extremely helpful and polite. She well exceeded my expectations of Shoppers customer service. It's really wonderful to see someone who enjoys their job as much as she does. I just wanted her to know she made my day and probably others as well. You deserve a promotion. Thank you!
I was on my way home about ten minutes(6:50pm) ago and there was an elderly man crossing Howard and techcumseh with some groceries he could hardly walk at all. The light had changed and he wasn't even half way across so he went to turn around and almost fell and dropped his groceries it was honestly heartbreaking. I wanted to help but I was six cars behind so the man in the first car got out of his car and helped the man cross but the man was having trouble walking. So the man in the car helped the elderly man into the back seat of his car and he literally had to lift him into the car because the elderly man couldn't get in. It was honestly so nice of him and his family to do that and not a single car that had missed the light honked or complained so everyone that was in the situation has been spotted. You are all amazing people and I'm sure the man appreciates it greatly.
To the two guys who were volunteers for the rose city clean sweep who had 5 pizzas, you've been spotted! We saw a guy on Oulette who's sign read that he was broke. I said jokingly maybe he wants a pizza, you asked him, he said he did and you gave him one. I was super impressed! I also saw you talking to a man with a guitar as I walked out of sight. There was also a young girl we walked by who seemed to be down on her luck. I later drove down Oulette to see that the girl AND the guy with the guitar each had a pizza. It truly warmed my heart! Thank you for not only volunteering to clean our city, but to be kind to those who needed it!
