I purchased a groupon for Under the Volcano a while ago. After not receiving what the groupon was purchased for and spending extra money to get a fraction of it's worth I emailed the owner of Under the Volcano, Dagmar, to rectify the situation. She helped me out by offering to replace the groupon meal for free. I went in expecting to just get the food replaced and leave with a better impression. What I got instead was above & beyond what the groupon for. While I am grateful for Under the Volcano's owner's help in the situation, the young gentleman working, Will, was absolutely a joy to interact with. He was pleasant, he made me laugh, gave me more than what was expected and was super easy to deal with. He went above and beyond what he had too, and HE is the reason I will ever go back there. Fantastic job, Will, I hope when I go in again you're the one working! Keep up the great work!! :D

Driving through the mall parking lot is just sad! Honestly, if you see your over the bright yellow lines, fix your car! Its all about respect for others around you! The picture is of just one of the dangerous, and silly parking jobs.

I was at the Tim Hortons on Ouellette and Grand Marais last night with my husband, sister and her fiance, and had AWESOME service by the young lady that goes by Astivia, she was very attentive, very cheerful, and went above and beyond when there was a small glitch with my order. I had ordered the soup deal, which I guess wasn't clear when I placed the order, and I asked her, doesn't a donut come with it, and she ended up giving me the donut anyhow, since it was her mistake.

I did call her manager this morning to give kudos, but wanted to come here and tell you all about it.

My cat has gone missing and I'm asking if any has seen him.

He's a gray tabby and was last seen wednesday night in the 1400 block of Curry Ave.

He answers to Liath (Li-ath) it means gray in gaelic.

He is a bit of a pain the ass but we love him very much and really want him returned.

I dont post stuff like this but everyone should be a helping hand at all times! I usually have my lunch at work but a week ago I decided to eat outside. While I was on break an older lady fell on her face carrying her groceries and couldnt get up, I ran towards her and looked around while grown men and women were just standing there watching . I helped her up n cleaned her off. She came in today with this and said I was her angel, I tried to hold in my tears while I hugged her !
