TIME will tell...

On February 20, 2014 my sister sent this watch to me in Kingsville from Raleigh, N.C. Shamefully it was scanned at our community mailbox but never made it to me. I am embarrassed to say that this package passed through many hands and was stolen by someone in Kingsville, Ontario... SHAME on YOU! It is not the material loss that bothers me; it is the loss of my trust that I have living in a small town. I hope whoever has this watch is able to tell what time it is….TIME to get a life and be true to your conscience.

Spotted 2 Amazing Nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital

One week ago today I had surgery at Windsor Regional Hospital. When I was brought up to my room to rest I was greeted by my first nurse her name is Sonia. She was happy to see me and made sure I was comfortable. She fixed my pillows, brought me warm blankets, ( I think by the end I had more then 7 lol ) she also brought cookies and ginger ale. My pain medication was always administered promptly!! She joked with me to make light of a not so comfortable situation. You could tell that Sonia likes her job. When she left I wondered who would be caring for me next? Her name is Brooke and she was also amazing! She also made sure I received my pain medication on time, made sure I was comfortable and when I fell asleep through dinner and woke up at 4am hungry she made me some oatmeal from her own lunch. With fresh raspberries and some brown sugar ( I traded her for a Cinnabon, my dad had brought me) I will never forget having my surgery and for these two young ladies who made my stay so comforting!! This is what I will remember!!
Thank You both from the bottom of my heart!!

Canadian Tire on Huron Church

I was there today and needed some help in sporting goods. Two sales associates saw and walked the opposite direction. There was also no button for calling for some assistance. What made me even madder was as I was leaving there were four people in the customer service booth, and three of them were doing nothing! This is not the first time I have been disappointed by the customer service at this store. If any of the management reads this, maybe you should have a talk with your employees.

At least the one on Walker Rd. had a very kind gentleman who was quick to help me.

Today I was leaving the mall and walking to my aunts van. I was driving my aunts caravan because she had my car in london. I used the lock button on the key to make it honk. I seen the lights blink so I started walking towards it. I got in and tried to start it but I couldn't turn the key. I started dialing my aunt but then I saw an older man standing at the drivers side window. I opened the door and said hello, can I help you? He looked at me and said. Do you want to trade keys? I looked at him and he can tell I was so confused. He laughed and told me I was in his van and that my van was right behind his. I was so embarrassed I started laughing so hard and saying I'm sooooooooo sorry. He just smiled back and said " I'm just glad I'm not the only one that does this " he was so cute and I want to thank him for not getting upset that I was sitting in his van trying to start it. So to that old man, thank you for being so sweet. What are the odds we were both walking to our vehicles at the same time and pressing our unlock at the same time lol

Bike Thief

Heads up Windsorites! It seems we have someone going around stealing bikes allover the city using bolt cutters or some kind of cutting device. Try to get a good quality lock for your bike or keep it out of sight. Make it hard for whoever this loser or losers are who think they can take what they want.

The amazing people at the Zehrs (Parkway Mall) thank you!

Thank you to the employees and customers at the Zehrs (Parkway Mall). I go there a lot and they have always been friendly and kind but today I got that warm fuzzy feeling. Like a weird episode of Cheers. The girls all know me even if they don't my name. They see me coming in my wheelchair and they smile and say hi. The pharmacy call me by name and say hi even if I'm not stopping there. You are all good people and I appreciate the work you do.
Thank you for helping me at cash out and not being too appalled at my method of carrying groceries home (still no neck ache!).
Thank you to all the customers who grab the things off the higher shelves for me. Thank you for not being too annoyed when I hold the line up due to having to have my groceries packed a certain way. It means more then I can explain.
