Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
June 30th and into the morning of July 1st, My husband and I were at Walker Rd Animal Hospital with our cat. She had been going through a lot over the past month, and we had been in there many times over the last two weeks. Last night was very busy there and ourselves as well as, another couple were waiting there for almost 4 hours with each of our cats. While waiting to see the vet, the woman and I started talking about our pets and how much we love them even though it's so expensive, etc.. Eventually they were called in, and then we were shortly after. After many hard decisions, we were told it was going to be best to put our little Chloe down. My husband and I were crying so much, & letting the vet know that we wouldn't get paid until Thursday to be able to pay for her cremation(otherwise they wouldn't be able to give us back her ashes). The vet afterwards came in to our room and told us that the other couple, that just left, paid $200 to our account to help us with the cost of the cremation. In such a hard time, a complete stranger gave us $200 to help us have our little girl forever with us! There simply are not enough words or thank you's that can be said!! They had already left before we had a chance to say thank you & the office cant give out their information; So whoever you sweet, amazing angels are, THANK YOU!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much!!
Chloe was the love of my life and my very best friend, and I am so very appreciative that we could put her to rest and be able to keep her ashes, because of you! We hope your kitty gets better and many good things in life come your way! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Today while shopping at Tecumseh Mall's Suzy Shier for dressy clothes since I am in many local pageants within windsor/ essex county. I met this lady while trying on clothes named Sonya who is an amazing lady. She is a regular customer at this store and took the time to give me great motherly advice on outfits I was trying on along with going back around the store to every part of it and recommending different outfits to try! It meant the world that a stranger could be so kind! I know she will be cheering me on at the Miss Tecumseh Pageant! Thank you Sonya for being so kind and taking time out of your day to help me find some cute outfits for all of my upcoming events :)
Friday my car broke down on Lauzon right in front of the fire hall, a man stoped to help push, another man stopped and tried to help. A man from the car wash tried to boost us, a woman stopped to give cold bottles of Water as it was going to take the tow truck and hour.
Besides these people, 5 other people stopped to try and help. I have to say I am proud I live in Windsor, where people help people!!! Also a big Thank you to the tow truck driver, that did a lot of work in this heat. Believe me I will never drive by a car on the side of the road.
This is to the employee working overnight last night at the 7-Eleven Tec. W. @ McD. You do a fantastic job even with customers coming at you from all directions. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and you talk like you're real. Keep going with that. Great fit for the place. The chain needs more of you. :)

I was running behind and left the house without my umbrella or rain coat, I just grabbed my sweater and left running to catch my bus. When I get to my stop, there was a young lady waiting with her umbrella. While I tried to get my stuff together and put on my sweater, she came over to my side and provided cover. I'll admit, I was surprised, I thanked her a couple times. It was a bit awkward, but not the wierd kind, because I didn't know her and yet she was so sweet for her kind gesture. Thank you so much Miss. Umbrella-ella!!! Sorry I didn't ask for your name.
To the blonde woman driving a white SUV crossover, heading North on Lauzon Pkwy at Forest Glade drive, thank you. I was the poor sap in the black Chysler 200 that was disabled going south bound towards EC Row. You called an ambulance because you saw me sobbing and unable to breathe. I apreciate your convern for a complete stranger :) My rear tire blew and I was having an absolute panic attack with my sister in the vehicle. We are both ok and the ambulance attendant made sure I was ok enough to drive. :) Thank you so much for showing empathy and restoring faith in humanity.
