Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
There was a white Ford Explorer parked on Langlois at Giles on Thurs May 16. My son and I pulled up behind it around 6pm and he noticed the mirror had been hit and was in the middle of the road. He went out and picked up the 2 pieces and put them on your hood.
I was watching for the owner so I could tell them(my son had practice in the park there), but I saw the car leaving too late. Just wanted to let you know and hope you were able to fix your mirror!
I would like to say Hello to a guy I met in Windsor 15/ 05, first time at the Royal Station and then on the car park. Tall, blue shirt, with a work friend or a father. If you have chance to read this you will know - redhead waving from the car. You made my day!
To the guy in the blue truck that stopped dead in the fast lane on the EC row Expressway above the overpass on Howard. First thing in the morning May 16 2019 @ 8:20Am roughly
You cannot stop dead on the expressway you made a truck and trailer go into the ditch!! I swerved around the truck and trailer thankfully not crashing or flipping my van with my children in there hitting the ditch and thank God I went back onto Expressway without harm. I looked you dead in the eyes and told you to pull over you flipped me the bird and took off. I hope you get caught!!! And to the two men in the truck that went into the ditch, I hope you guys are alright and your vehicle plus trailer. this could have turned out real bad and I'm thankful everyone was paying attention. to the guy in the blue truck get off the road and stay off!!!
Mother's Day weekend! 4 out of 5 of my girlfriends went out for lunch at Carrots and Dates after an amazing Meditation class. After two hours of eating and talking we went to pay our bill just to find out that this one man that was originally eating there paid our entire bill. The workers there did their best to keep this a secret. We just want to thank whoever you are. It's nice to know that there are still kind, giving and thoughtful people out there.😊
I'd like to give a BIG SHOUT of appreciation to WHOMEVER turned in my sons LOST Wallet. His name is Kieran B. The wallet was dropped at the Sandwich St. Tim Horton's Sunday May 5th (late pm). He got a call Monday morning that the Wallet was in the property room of W'sor Police HQ & could be picked up. Everything was in tact [less $10 imo] but hey, even if the person took a finders fee. So thankful the money, health card, bank card & id were there. The complications otherwise. My son's only 20 yrs old & we were going to a Rock concert in London Monday night...he was stressed having lost his wallet.
To the awesome two Men today who drove by My daughter and I at a park.
You tossed a soccer ball out your sunroof saying "here's something for you to kick around"
THANK YOU!! We didn't have much happening there but our imaginations which was fun but, you Two made our day awesome. This was at around 3pm today Sunday and it's 6:15 and she is still playing with he soccer ball.
Thank you for your generation!
It says Windsor Soccer Club on the ball.
To the multiple people at the park on Riverdale May 4 Saturday afternoon who trudged through mud and puddles in the wet grass, got bags of treats and food out of their cars, ruined clothes and shoes and committed two hours of their time to helping us catch a dog we were watching That got out from underneath our fence.
A million times thank you!
If it hadn't been for the people that jumped in to help me I don't believe I would have caught her!
People stopped their cars, kids came from the playground, people that were leaving the park stayed to try and help catch the dog! Never have I ever been so grateful for the kindness of strangers !
This pup is safe and sound because of all of you!! Thank you !!!
Saturday May 4th at about 1:30pm, this cute family of Canadian Geese & their babies decided to cross the 4 lanes of Tecumseh Rd near Crafty Business. I witnessed them cross as oncoming traffic was busy & approaching from both ways. Thank you to all those that slowed down, stopped their vehicles and didnt honk at the geese to scare them. Thank you for respecting nature. It was a relief to see this family get safely to the other side. Hopefully, they dont make this a daily habit.
