Today I was driving down Bernard and just a few feet from tecumseh road my muffler broke and was dragging. I made a u-turn to head home and a very nice guy stops me and tells me I can't drive home like that because I would rip muffler off so he ran in and got a hanger tied it up and told me to go right home. After an exhausting day it was so nice to see such a nice guy offer help. Thank you for showing me there are still some nice people in this city.
If your child would like a personalized letter from Santa, stop by 3061 Fairlane Crescent and have them put their letter to Santa in the mailbox out front. As long as there is a legible return address, Santa will send a letter to your little one. No payment or postage necessary. You dont even have to knock on the door as the mailbox is right out front. Feel free to take a photo of your little one sending off his or her letter.
Merry Christmas everyone from Mrs.Claus!
This morning at Walmart I noticed a woman with her cart heaped so high the stuff was ready to fall out. As I was passing I said; boy someone will be happy this Christmas. She explained the staff at Strickland Auto collected donations and are sponsoring 20 families for Christmas...how amazing and thank you for your generosity to all those kids & families!
I'd like to send a shout out to the Windsor Police officer I saw at Tim Hortons who took the time to buy a drink for someone who clearly needed help. You took your time and sat down to have a conversation with this person. I hope you were able to make a difference for that person.
SPOTTED...Thanks so much to the stranger who stopped to assist my daughter when her car spun out and crashed earlier today on the EC Expressway between Matchette and Huron Church. You were the only one who stopped to see if she was ok. Not even the snow plow that she moved over to accommodate stopped. She is fine, just still very shaken and of course upset about the damage to her car.
Thank you again so much for your kindness.
I spent over two hours waiting in the surgeon's office today but it was a pleasant wait. Only two people had their phones out; the rest of us chatted away as if we were old friends. Young people offered older patients their seats, the door was held open when anyone came in. Friendly advice was given, no one grumbled about the length of time.
Cheers to those waiting.
Soooo nice to see this little boy out with his little shovel helping his dad shovel the sidewalks down the street ! Most kids go around wanting money ... this little boy was so happy to be out helping his dad just to be nice !!! And did an excellent job also clearing the driveway and never asked for anything just out being super nice and I 100% am extremely grateful since I just happen to have a broken shovel and can't find my shoes just my flip flops !!! Made my day !!! Wish more people would go out and do nice things just to be nice !!
