Found car keys near Wyandotte and university street
I was at costco on may 20th around 1pm and someone hit our car and left without stopping but fortunately someone else saw it happen and got his license plate number and left us a note on our windshield.
I would just like to say thank you that person for doing that
Warning to all, please do not leave anything valuable in your car! In the place that I should feel the SAFEST I was violated and stolen from by a scum bag! Went to pick up my Son from his daycare (the children's house Montessori on Labelle in Windsor) at 2:45 in the afternoon and noticed an unusual man in the parking lot on his bike (first flag and stupid me for not reporting it and I keep kicking myself for not) in the 5 whole minutes it took me to grab my son and come back to my LOCKED car, my back window was smashed opened (glass all over the place inside and outside of the car) My laptop, wallet and phone were all stolen!!!! Frankly the phone, the car window and door , and the wallet are replaceable but my thumb drives and laptop contained SO many pictures and files that are irreplaceable..... Worst day ever. Worst part was my poor innocent child witnessed this.....Lessons learned: never leave anything in your car no matter where you are and two always back up everything de your digital devices. Sincerely, one traumatized mom...

My husband was just at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Banwell to get some baby food and an eyedropper or syringe to feed our ill cat. He had explained the situation to the pharmacist on duty, whos name he didn't get, and when they heard about what's happening, they gave the syringe (with no needle of course) to my husband and wouldn't accept payment for it, just hoped that our little guy got better.
Thank you so much, you ROCK!
I want to spot Jill that works at the Windsor Fire & Rescue service. She went above and beyond by writing me a letter thanking me for sharing the letter that was posted on Spotted on May 21, 2016 as follows about how Windsor Firefighters played with kids on the street. I passed the message along to the Administrative Assistant so that these Firefighters can be given medals for their hard work and dedication.
Please be kind to the Firefighters when they are out at the grocery stores, handing out educational pamplets and also when they are allowing your children as well as the community to look at the Fire Trucks. Its still a shame a few people complain that Firefighters should not be involved in the community. To those people, shame on you for writing complaints about that.
Jill, you have been Spotted for giving me the appreciation to share this letter with you and for saying how important it is for Firefighters to be part of the community. To Chief Bruce Montone, thank you for hiring this wonderful lady.
From the guy that volunteers for the Crime Prevention Council.

Yesterday while heading home on Dominion attempting to get over into the turning lane for the ECROW I was witness to something quite disturbing. There was a younger gentleman, about 30 years old, attempting to enter the expressway going WEST....using the EASTBOUND ramp. I stopped as did another vehicle, and honked at him waving to try and get him to look at the sign. He was waiting for oncoming traffic, which quite possibly saved him from a fatal mistake. He was angry at us for honking at him, so he flipped us off. The gentleman in the other vehicle got out, walked in front of my vehicle, and advised him that the west bound lanes were up further.
He proceeded into the proper lane, ahead of us - without even a backwards glance. He was probably embarrassed for behaving so poorly.
Please people, when someone is honking at you on the road, please before following your first instinct and giving them a rude gesture, maybe take a look around yourself and see if there is a reason someone is trying to get your attention.
