Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Wow my heart has been so warmed and my faith in humanity restored! Tonight (Tuesday November 15) at Walmart we did some Christmas shopping and what little grocery shopping we could. Somehow we went over budget. By quite a bit and I was completely baffled by considering I counted it all as we went and I normally am so on point with the total. While in line half my stuff rung through and being packed into bags I had already hit our limit. Not limit as in can't or don't want to spend the rest but my husband and I had no more in my wallet to spend! Embarrassed because people were patiently waiting behind us to cash their order through I was frantically thinking about what we could do without until next Tuesday which was basically nothing I almost felt like crying and frustration began to set in. The lady and man behind us said she would pay for it all. To just leave it, it was fine 😮 she made it seem like such a small gesture as if she were holding open a door or something. I had no idea what to do I reassured her we were fine and that it was okay but she refused and said it was okay that it wasn't that much anyway. I stood awkwardly in line as she paid for my stuff not knowing what to do or how to thank this wonderfully kind hearted woman.. After a dozen thank yous I asked if I could hug her. She allowed me and I just couldn't believe people like her still exist. I've always paid it forward but rarely have we ever needed it back today an angel was watching over us and that angel wasn't one like you read in the bible or stories. She was just like you and I. And she saved me tremendously. I know it may not seem like much but to me it was a life raft while stranded in the middle of an ocean. I cried when I got home and settled in and I can only hope God has blessed this woman and continues to. May not have been much to her but to us it was everything! Thank you so so much.! I wish I knew a way to repay you for your kindness in our time of need 💗 I guess I'll just continue to help those who also need it.

I just want to send a special thank you to the lady that brought in 2 children tonight at Riviera Pizza. They were playing Vera Shaka on their tablet displays and it truly touched my heart. Just want to say thank you even though it may not seem like much. Going thru dealing with a sick grandma, work, and church. It has been a huge struggle and just wanted you to know how much that touched my heart while enjoying a much needed beverage tonight. Thank you
It's that time again! Tiss the season to give generously!

Dr. Natalie Fuhr of LaSalle Dental, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for being so patient, kind, gentle, understanding, funny. My 7 y/ o was in pain and you took such good care of her. Words cannot express my gratitude to you for making her first extraction so incredibly fast and painless.
You made my little girl very happy!
Thank you Dr. Fuhr
To the mother and son at the blood clinic yesterday. I just wanted to say thank you for being such wonderful people. Your son was so well mannered and very friendly to my little guy. Your son showed kindness and friendship to my son while playing his Lego game (which he now has on his tablet and loves). To you Mom, you showed a complete stranger a friendly smile and a delightful conversation. You should be very proud of how wonderful you are raising your son. Thank you both for making our wait time in the clinic a pleasurable one. We wish you nothing but the best in life.
Tonight was the final game for the Massey Senior boys Football Team. I left the field again feeling so proud of not only my son, who unfortunately didn't get a lot of playing time, but has grown and become a stronger player. He started off on the junior team, and just prior to the first season game, was moved to seniors unexpectedly. He is 16, coaches didn't realize. His first day on the senior team, after practicing with the for weeks, he was pretty sad. Along came a boy who has looked out for my son from day one. Kyle had put his bag in the junior locker room, when asked where his stuff was, his answer, "in the junior locker room" "there is no room in the senior." This boy said "you are part of the senior team now",he told our son to go get his stuff. He then cleared a spot in the senior locker room for my son. Since that day he has looked out for him, been a friend and cheered him on. So many other players have looked out for him. This boy named Fabio is a stellar young man, his parents have raised a kind, upstanding child. Last night Kyle told me his dream is to play on the line next year beside Fabio. I hope he knows how much he has influenced our son, and how much our son looks up to him. Again, this football team amazes me every year!!
It was just after 7pm on Thursday evening. As I was sharing a pizza with my mom at the Pizza Pizza downtown, I noticed a young couple walk in with a man that I saw up the road earlier. This very nice couple bought this man a couple of slices because he was hungry. This is something I don't see everyday, so I would like to give these two wonderful people recognition for their good deed. You two are awesome!
