Last night (November 24, 2016) we were at Devonshire mall getting boots for my daughter. We walked by the lineup for pictures with Santa and noticed Santa was having a conversation. We took the opportunity to point Santa out to my daughter. She stopped and stared in wonder. Santa, you noticed Emma and gave her a nice wave having difficulty getting her to move on you stopped your conversation and came over personally to say hello and bring her a colouring book & candy cane. She was the happiest kid in the world. Thank you for your kindness and for making our special little girl's night. That moment will never be forgotten.
My daughter was being harassed while on her way home from school. Gladys and her friend intervened (which also put them into a safety issue) and brought my daughter back to school. They also waited with her, comforted her and gave numbers to help. I would like to personally thank the both of them for not avoiding a situation that could've ended horribly: for not just being bystanders. It's people like you who are the change in the world. :)
Thank you to the couple that helped me get up after my fall at Shoppers. I am ok and God bless you for helping me up and your concern. Have a Merry Christmas!!
I'd like to offer a huge thank you to the young man yesterday at IKEA, driving a silver Saturn, who asked my daughter and I if we required any assistance loading our purchases in the car. He came right over, leaving his purchases next to his car, (and unbeknownst to us, his wife and child in the car). He loaded some very heavy boxes into the back and told us to be mindful of our backs when we took the boxes out so as to not to get hurt. He was so friendly and thoughtful, and we are so appreciative of his kindness. Thanks to that young man !!
Lost orange tabby cat. Has gone without 2 of his insulin shots. It's been cold outside too. Please share and keep an eye open for us PLEASE. 😿

I took my mother out for lunch today at Ming Wah! Half way through lunch, a beautiful lady came to our table, placed $35 cash on our table and told us to put it towards our lunch and walked out of the restaurant. We were both shocked and said thank you and watched her drive away in her cute little car. We are still shocked and wished we would have hugged her. If you are reading this, thank you so much! You totally made both of our day!
Thank you to the wonderful lady who paid for my items at the goodwill on McDougall street Sunday around 130pm.
My daughters and I were shopping and in line waiting to pay. My baby got a little fussy and I had to take her out of her stroller. The lady beside us in another line dropped a few items and my oldest right away went to help (she has a heart of gold and is always ready to help people)
We smiled and I went back to talking to the cashier, balancing a crying baby and getting ready to pay.
Before I knew it the lady jumped in between me and the cashier and handed her enough money to cover my entire bill.
So to this wonderful lady thank you a million fold. I was speechless and dumbstruck and in such awe of your generosity. I asked if I could hug you and you let me. I always teach my children that it’s important to do good deeds but not for a reward, that the creator will see when we do good and it will come back to us when we least expect it. Today in your generosity and goodwill at the goodwill you helped reinforce what I teach them, you also helped them see that the spirit of St. Nicholas lives in us all ( another lesson we teach them about the holidays and the reason behind "Santa Claus") .
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope and know that the kindness you showed us today will come back to you. God bless you and I hope you have a wonderful holiday.
