For the last month coworker and I have been transporting back and forth to work. We are SPOTTING 2 AMAZING MEN Mike from the central 3 and Ernie from the crosstown 2 early am runs Monday to Friday. These two men have gone out of their way to make our trips on time to connect and on time for work. They are sweet and caring always smiling and keeping their passengers safe. I read in this article that Elana Fric-Shamji was murdered by her husband Mohammed Shamji. Since I read she was Tecumseh, Ontario, I just wanted to say RIP to her and people will also have the opportunity to donate to a Trust Fund.
I hope her husband gets the maximum jail sentence with no chance of parole.
RIP, my thought and prayers are with you.
At the Front Rd LaSalle Petro-Canada this morning my husband and I stopped with our 3 year old and 7-week-old because the toddler wanted a Nutri-Grain bar and had forgotten his at home. After waiting in line for quite a while (lots of lotto tickets/ ProLine in front of me) I got up to pay and took out my card. The lady behind me said "Oh, you're using your card for just that? Put it on my gas tab, especially since you've had to wait so long". Such a small thing but after an exhausting night with my newborn and long morning with the toddler it was so nice for a positive thing to happen! Thank you, and I will pay it forward.
I was at the east end walmart on Saturday afternoon and found a key for a jeep in my cart. If you lost yours there it is at the customer service desk at the front of the store.
Public service announcement.
I understand that it's the holiday season and traffic is heavier than usual. Please have patience and drive safe, and if someone is kind enough to let you merge, please wave as a thank you. I am constantly letting people in and getting no thanks. It takes a second to show appreciation. I'm ready to stop doing so if it isn't acknowledged anymore. We are all in a rush, but it's simple manners.
I'd like to spot Jessica from The Jean Machine at the Devonshire Mall. I went there today with a specific type of jean in mind, she immidiately started pulling jeans. We had a winner after the second pair, she could have told me they were the best, amazing and I should get them and been out of her hair. Instead she wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied, I tried on 15 more pairs!! Every time I opened the door she was there waiting with a warm smile and ready to give me her HONEST opinion about the fit. That meant the world to me. I will definitely be coming back for future purchases and telling everyone about the exceptional service you provided to me today. Thank you Jessica for making me feel like I was the only customer in the store today!
My husband, 2 children and myself headed to the penalty box after walking in the parade. We had a delicious meal as always and when we asked for our bill our waitress told us it had been taken care of!! We would love to thank the gentleman that paid for our meal! Thank you so much, it was very unexpected but very much appreciated!! I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday ! From my family to yours, merry Christmas 😊
