Thanks for being concerned:)

I just want to thank the 2 ladies who were at the Ouellette campus this afternoon. We were in the waiting room and you both noticed I was crying and just down and out. The lady with brown hair offered to talk to me, and the lady with the blonde hair who offered to go get me a coffee. I appreciate you both and I know you were both going through your own issues but just wanted to thank you both for reaching out to me. It's greatly appreciated. I hope you ladies are both well and thank you again.

How NOT to act in a movie theatre

To the family at Lakeshore Cinema at the 1pm showing of Sing today: shame on you. You acted like you were the only people in the mostly packed theatre today. Your son spent 20 minutes jumping up and down on the spot, another 20 minutes running up and down the aisles and stairs, and the remainder of the movie was spent talking loudly.
Now don't get me wrong, I get it. It's a kids movie, there's going to be some noise and interruptions.
One of the interruptions absolutely should NOT have been you (the mom) pulling your phone out in the middle of the movie to TAKE A VIDEO OF YOUR SON SHOWCASING HIS BAD BEHAVIOUR. I can honestly say pretty much everyone in that theatre today spent two hours gritting their teeth and watching you completely ignore your very distracting child and everyone else around you who paid money to enjoy that movie today.
I do hope you see this, and I do hope you think ahead next time you decide to take your son to the movies.
Can my child handle sitting still through a movie without greatly disturbing others?
If not, either wait until you can watch the movie in the comfort of your own home, or take a moment to pull your son aside and tell him he needs to respect the rules of the movie theatre (as do you, captain snapchat) and if he cannot then there will be consequences.
Shame on you for being totally oblivious to those around you.

You did more than just give me my phone back

About a week ago, I had lost my cell phone. I thought I lost it near the new tops of windsor. Called it a billion times, I was even gonna see about cancelling my Sim card if I could. Then the same day I was going to try cancelling it, someone called my mother-in-law's phone, using my phone. I tried calling back but it went to voicemail. I texted, no reply. I kept calling and finally someone answered. They said "hello, I found this phone." And from there we arranged for me to go and pick it up. He said he thought it was a garbage phone because the screen was cracked but decided to give it a try anyways and charged it. He said he immediately started calling people to find the owner. He said he found it around the place I thought I lost it. Sir, I just want to let you know that you are an amazing person. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only giving me my phone back, but for giving me back my thousands of memories in my gallery, you gave back important information in my notes. You didn't touch anything other than my contacts to call people. Thank you again!

By the way, this man refuses to accept a reward. :(

Christmas Angels

I'm surprised this has not been done already. Before christmas there was a woman and her husband who sponsored a few families and handed out a ton of turkeys to those in need and also gave 4 needy families $250 walmart gift cards and donated a ton of food to street help and drouilard place. These two angels helped out a ton of people for christmas and I wanted to say thank you. They have a facebook page. It says they try to help families every year. Bless you both.

To the people who

To the individuals who told a young mom to quiet her baby during the stars and strollers showing at Cineplex yesterday, shame on you. The entire point of those shows is to allow mothers the chance to enjoy a movie and a chance to get out of the house while in the company of their babies. It is expected that babies may fuss. It is quite clear from the set up that these shows are designed for this purpose, from the lowered sound to the changing tables. If you were unhappy then perhaps you should have selected a different show to attend, instead of making a mom feel bad for being exactly where she was entitled to be. To the moms who were in attendance, I hope that you will not be discouraged from going again in the future.

Guardian angel

Today my son and I were having lunch at Mamo burger after our doctors appointment. The man that was sitting behind us paid for his bill and left. But then returned back in to ask if anyone owned an black Explorer. I didn't respond because I have a black edge . But he then pointed at my car so I told him that it was mine. He then told me I had a bulge in my tire that I didn't see. I had just came off the expressway and my son drives that expressway everyday to go to school. Today I'm very grateful for this man for coming back in to let me know . He is truly my guardian angel. Thank you so much xo😇
