Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To the van in the tecumseh McDonald's drive thru around 9pm tonight who payed for my meal, thank you. You have been spotted. Since it's McHappy day, your kind gesture inspired me, I also payed it forward and payed for the next persons meal. Since it was sooo busy I was able to watch the reaction on the ladies face as they told her I payed for her meal. It was a great feeling. So thank you, and thanks to all the McDonald's staff for a great job and all those who supported Ronald McDonald House today!!!!
To the guy in Jackson Park with the Cockatoo: thank you. You came up to us at the bus stop right in front of the park to show her off. A few people at the stop were frustrated with the extremely late bus and this made my day. You let us pet her and you even got her to say her name (I think it was Star). You told us to have a good day and to stay safe, and I'm sure we all did. Thank you.
I am posting this for my Aunt that is wheelchair bound. She lost her cell phone today while on the way to her doctors in the downtown area. She just bought the phone last week and it is her life line in case something happens to her while she is out. The phone is a Samsung 5S and the screensaver is of a unicorn. We have tried calling it but it is just going straight to voicemail. If found please contact myself via private message on Facebook.
Hello, on February 5th ,2017 I lost my wedding ring that I have had for less than a year. It was a little loose on me however due to recent pregnancy I had not resized yet as my fingers were slightly swollen. It was lost around Bruce and University. I was taking my daughter out of the car and it must have slipped without me feeling it. It has huge sentimental value and I'm willing to offer a very good reward for anyone who is kind enough to return it. Police Report has been filed and I keep frantically checking listings and checking with pawn shops on a daily basis to see if it was sold or found. Please if anyone has any information, contact me. Thank you so much! Picture of the ring is attached
I had to stop at the Freshco on Tecumseh Road East and McDougall to pick up an item that I forgot to grab from the Superstore. While waiting in line the gentleman in front of me offered for me to go ahead of him even though he himself had only a few items. I said thank you no, and that it was kind of him to offer. Then, last second before I even had time to reject, he grabbed my item and paid for it. To be honest, this has never happened to me before and it took me by surprise, a nice one I might add. He had such a nice voice and smile and you don't come across such good people like that very often. So I wanted to let you know (John) that you've been spotted and I thank you for making my day, not only for your kindness but your generosity to a total stranger. I've noticed quite an increase in this type of activity happening in Windsor and I'm proud to say I live here and that I've become part of it. I will pay it forward as I often try to do :)
To the gentle man who ran through a stop sign over by Queen Victoria Public School in Windsor this morning. MY children and I had already started to cross when you came barreling through and only stopped when you heard me yell. I know that you are in a hurry, so was I and many other parents and children. However, you will not get to where you need to be any quicker if you hit someone. In the mornings and afternoons, there are kids out and they deserve to be able to go to school and home from school safely.
To everybody, when you are near a school, take your time, don't ruin your day and someone else's. Remember, this could be your child, your child's friend.
Found a wallet in parking lot corner of Wyandotte and Pelissier. (Beside Pho Maxim) Please spread the word. I'll probably bring it into the police station tomorrow.
