Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To the lady driving the navy blue SUV around 3:50pm on the #3 today, you are an impatient, careless driver. Today I was headed to Windsor with my 2yr old son, when you decided to cut me off when trying to take the Manning Rd exit. But when you decided to cut in front of me from the other lane, you realized you were driving way to fast and slammed on your brakes. Which then caused me to slam on my brakes, to only miss you by inches. If it weren't for my quick reaction, there would have been an accident. I was the one laying down the horn, hopefully you realized in the instant you were in the wrong. You were in such a rush to get in front of me, why?? Just a news flash, the #3 is not a race track. A lot of people these days are in such of a rush, they don't realize what their actions can do. If you were driving in the right hand lane and waited literally 5 seconds, you would have made your exit without cutting someone off. I thank my lucky stars that my son and I were ok. And that no other driver was involved or injured.
Please know the rules of the road, always check your blind spot and most importantly, SLOW DOWN! There's no need to be in such a rush. The #3 is not a race track. Arriving late and alive is much better then not arriving at all!
You were spotted!
Last night, I was out with my boyfriend enjoying a night downtown after work. It was around 2:30 am when we started to make our way home, but we stopped in front of a building on University to talk about something. Because of how my boyfriend was standing in front of me while I was leaning against the building, a woman pulled over and asked me if I was okay and wanted to make sure that I wasn't in any sort of distress. I couldn't be anymore grateful that she stopped, had I been in an unfavorable situation, she could have prevented something horrible. You could end up being someone's saving grace, never change. Your act of kindness and concern didn't go unnoticed, you've been Spotted!
To the 'gentlemen' driving down Tecumseh Rd. East in front of Windsor Chapel just a little while ago, around 9:10pm, who chose to yell, "Leafs suck!" out of their car window as they drove by us - how dare you.
You are VERY fortunate that I was not closer to my vehicle when you took it upon yourselves to insult me and my family, or I promise you, I would have followed you to give you a piece of my mind!
Next time you see a group of people in a FUNERAL HOME parking lot all wearing the same thing, maybe stop to consider if there might be a reason why they are doing so, dumbasses.
My family and I all wore Leafs jerseys tonight as a way of honouring my uncle Dino, and we REALLY didn't need you dumping on us when we're going through what is quite possibly one of the most difficult times our family has ever had to go through.
Shame on you.
So my husband and I brought the kids to dairy d lite on howard tonight. We were sitting on a bench eating our ice cream. There was a teenage boy and girl there also getting ice cream. The boy notices someone's wallet on the ground behind one of the benches. He scooped it up and brought it right to the service window. Didn't open it or look inside, just turned it in. GOOD FOR YOU YOUNG MAN! Both my husband and I commended him for his actions. Then my son asked why we said that to him. We explained that he did the right thing. He found a wallet and turned it in. So that when the person who lost it went back looking it would be there. Thank you for the lesson young sir. You've been spotted!
My husband, 2 of our children and I traveled to Windsor from Sarnia yesterday (Thursday) to go to Adventure Bay. We are on a budget this summer so this was one of a couple small, affordable excursions we are doing this week while my husband is on vacation. A very kind gentleman gave us his parking stub for the parking lot by the water park since it still had more than 3 hours left on it. It was just the right amount of time for our 4 and 5 year olds to spend at the park and it saved us a few dollars more on our already budget vacation. Thank you very much, sir, for your kind gesture. It was very much appreciated!
The new no frills in windsor was extremely short staffed for cashiers last night. There were only two girla working and they were busting their butts the whole time. It was very busy when I went in. These girls are always so nice and so fast! Great work danielle and keyona! You two went above and beyond my expectations and im very impressed. Thanks again ladies (from the woman who yelled at that customer swearing at you two) No frills, please help these lovely ladies out and staff more cashiers!
On Sunday (August 9th)morning I was taking my daughter to the mall to get some new clothes. It had been a trying week as we moved out of our home and separating. We were on our way and I knew something was wrong with the car. I could see and feel it. I pulled over and low and behold a flat tire. I didn't know what to do I panicked, my daughter started having an anxiety attack.
A man drove past me and saw I was in distress. I started to call people I knew for help but it was Sunday morning and no one was answering. I started to move the car back to a safe place when The same man came back to see if I was ok. Jeremy changed the flat and helped me on my way.
Jeremy it may have been a kind gesture to you but it meant the world to me after the weekend I was having.
You truly are a blessing and you have been spotted.
