Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Yesterday I was stung by a bee, hasn't happened in over 30 yrs so didn't bother to get an EpiPen as they usually just land on me sit for a minute and fly away. Needless to say this bee was a hit and run didn't even leave a stinger thankfully or things could have been much worse. As my husband drove around to every West end clinic they were all closed until the 4th. 20 minutes later we made it to Hotel dieu Ouellette campus. Within 2 minutes I was hooked up to iv and epi administered. I want to tell Dr. Thomas and her perfect team of nurses and respiratory specialist. That you have been spotted. I am not sure all that happened as the anaphylactic shock hit hard and I don't remember much other than you saying it will be ok you are where you need to be. 2 hours later I was home safe, alive and sleeping.
Thank you so much
Hubby and I decided to make our hearts happy and do what we could to help the ones who were affected by the flooding in the Alix Sinkevitch Townhouse. Off we went to pick up much needed back to school supplies for the children. While shopping we decided to pick up a crib mattress too because we noticed on a news clip one mother drying out a mattress for her child. I want to give a big thank you to the manager Ramiel and assistant Ashley at the Walmart on Tecumseh for their generous gift of the free crib mattress greatly appreciated.
I also want to say how pleased I was to see how many kind generous people who were there dropping off much needed items. You are what makes our city so great. The true meaning of being caring angels. So heartbreaking to see how much devastation this flood has caused to so many people in our city .
So this happened, Around 1pm this afternoon I was loading garbage bags of my destroyed items to my front lawn. At this point there is probably 50 bags and my laminate flooring, when a Naples Pizza delivery van pulls alongside my driveway and hands me this pizza! FREE!! She says they are driving through neighborhoods and giving to those cleaning due the water loss and wanted to help make the day a bit better. So in tears I graciously accepted, she gave me a hug and told me to hang in there!!! How awesome is that?? Thank you Naples Pizza!
As my husband and I were dragging some of our water soaked stuff to the street for pickup, a Naples Pizza delivery van stopped out front to give us a free pizza 🍕 and a hug. She said that Naples is trying to make sure people eat and they want to give back to the community!! Thank You Naples Pizza, you made our day, it has definitely been a stressful week for us and many others and this made it just a bit easier. So happy to see one Windsor business helping its neighbors!!
Before heading out to the Harrow Fair today my 4 year old was determined to bring her water gun so she could "shoot back at the silly guys on the little bikes". She waited the whole parade for her moment. Thank-you to the Shriners for their sense of humour but most of all to the Shriner that stopped to give her a high five! This made her day and my heart melt. Your love for children is evident in the big and small acts the people in your organization do!!
We are camping at Willowood and our daughter had her plastic pink guns close to the road. When she got up in the morning we found 1 broken. She was a little upset. I told her she needed to take better care of her stuff and not leave them laying around. While I was making breakfast this lovely lady and her daughter pulled up. She felt bad that she ran it over and bought her a new one to replace it. She didn't find the same one but she got 1 even better then the one she had. That was not necessary but it sure did make our daughter very happy. It's nice to see caring and honest people. Thank you so much
To the two girls driving between the taco bell in windsor. Wish we could have spent more time beside each other on Tecumseh. Thanks for making my night.
I am so sorry.
I'm sorry I affected you in a way that made you unhappy. I'm sorry you didn't want to be my friend. I'm sorry you couldnt see past my friendly manner and outgoing personality to see that im actually a nice person. I'm sorry you thought about me for days after we met. I'm sorry you felt the urge to put me down and talk badly about me to others. I'm sorry I reminded you of "the girls you didn't like in high school". I'm sorry you think i'm "fake" and not "real". I want you to know that I don't hate you. I have no reason to hate you because I don't know what you must be going through to hate someone you don't know. I truly hope you felt better even for a moment at my expense. I hope you felt more beautiful, more important and more "real" as you say. But guess what! you haven't hurt me. I know who I am, and I love myself. I don't have to put others down to feel this way. I am full of love and strength and that is why I wont react to the things you've said, the rumours you've spread. I hold no anger towards you, i'll even say hello with a genuine smile because I know what you try so hard to hide from others. I know you are sad inside and I want you to know if you need a friend I'm here to listen.
