7-Eleven at Tecumseh Road : Saturday night at quarter to 8:00pm

Saturday night I was on my way to fill in a shift for a co worker and I was looking forward to buying a coffee at 7 Eleven on my way there.  I was really tired and having a crappy day.  I have been going through some really trying times lately and try to find a silver lining.  Thought I had brought a five dollar bill with me but after I grabbed my coffee and got to the counter, I couldn't find it!  I was really bummed and said sorry I forgot my wallet.  I probably looked like a huge b word as I left the store,  was probably written all over my face (I was really tired and down).  Then a really nice guy came out as I was unlocking my bike and handed me the drink.  I was dumbfounded and didn't know what to say, I now kinda felt dumb.  I'm always the one who gives to charity and others and doesn't like to be helped or accept help (at the same time life has been so crap I do wish the universe would cut me some slack lol) Anyhow if by any chance the person who gave me the coffee gets to see this come visit me at KFC if you ever want some good eats

I APPRECATE YOU!

Speeding

A red brand new Lamborghini speeding at
excessive rate of speed beyond 100km on a residential street marked 40km/ hr. After he returned to his location I had words with the young man that it is irresponsible to drive the way he was in our neighbourhood.  That we have small children around and he may hit one of them, he shrugged me off.  I come home to find that he proceeded to come down our street yet again at a high speed. I get it, your car is cool and nice and you have no idea how to properly drive this vehicle!
Please please please have a brain and stay away from St.Clair beach side roads and go drag race somewhere else!

Good people

My daughter lost her wallet at the Cineplex theatre last night at the Devonshire Mall. It was during the last showing of the night therefore she couldn't go back and check an hour later when she realized she must have left it there. We both went to the theatre this morning just before the mall opened and was told by an employee that was jus arriving for work that the doors only opened in 1 hour. I wanted to thank that young girl for relaying my message to her manager that my daughter had lost her wallet the night before. The manager opened the doors within a few minutes of my request and told us that a wallet had been found last night by the cleaning staff. My daughter got her wallet back with everything in it. It is nice to know that there is lots of good people left around that will return your property as it was found. Again thank you young lady for relaying my message to your manager. Thanks to the manager for letting us in and not having to wait an hour until the doors opened. A big HUGE THANK YOU to the cleaning staff for finding the wallet.

Tire blowout- thank you good samaritain!

To the electrician by trade, prof at the college, who drives a white Edge, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My sister, three kids and I were headed to visit my grandparents and driving in the middle of the construction zone on the 401. My tire blew right off and I pulled over with traffic flying by. You and you wife pulled over and offered your help. Your kind gesture allowed me to stay calm and get through a stressful situation. You took off the old rim and put my donut on, all the while, traffic whizzing by just a few feet away. Many many thanks and I will pay it forward!

The OB nurses at MET

A good nurse can change any experience you have in a hospital. Over the weekend my husband and I got to share in the birth of our first baby. Thank you to the amazing nurses we had on the OB floor, Jane, Mel, Sherrie and Mary, you all made our experience better in every way. No question was unanswered and you went over and above to make sure our new little family was taken care of. Another thank you to the lactation consultant Tracey. We appreciate all of your hard work.

Great group of young people

Sept 16th the WMFA held their 3rd annual golf tournament at Ambassador Golf Club. I need to acknowledge the fantastic young men and women who worked our tournament. All too often, you hear how disengaged the young people of today are. Well not these guys. They were not only helpful and polite, they smiled, engaged in conversations and were very attentive to our golfers. Great job guys! Thank you for making our golf tournament a successful one. Ambassador, you should be very proud of these young employees!

Walker Road Home Depot

I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge thumbs up to Ron at the Walker Road Home Depot. After numerous calls and hours upon hours at the Tecumseh Home Depot I was frustrated and left the store in tears. When I showed up at and met Ron at the pro desk at Walker Road I felt like the red carpet had been rolled out. He walked me through the store with my whole list of things that I needed and also reminded me about the things I forgot. Not only was he helping me but when he overheard questions of people that were looking for answers as we were walking he would stop and help them to. Because of his knowledge and the confidence that I had in listening to him I decided to reconstruct what I had had in my head about building my shed to what he suggested. Ron if you're out there I cannot tell you how you turned my frown upside down that day I will never ever go to another Home Depot again my experience with you and Walker Road was absolutely life-changing thank you so much. Take pride in what you do becuase you do it so well. Ride safe. I appreciate you.
