Our kayak was stolen from the roof of our car parked on the 900 block of St. Luke Road the night of Oct 18/ 19. It is a red Necky Chatham 16. Any information or help getting this back would be hugely appreciated. Very disappointed someone would go to so much trouble to steal something so important to us. If anyone saw this kayak being taken off our car in the middle of the night please speak up!
I wanted to say THANK YOU to a nice older lady, who parked behind us near City Hall building today. While I was putting my baby in a stroller and you complimenting on my daughter, you put the money in to my parking meter and paid for my parking. There was plenty of time covered, so I waived an older gentleman to use our spot. We were moved by your kind gesture, s a pay it forward we left a prepaid Starbucks card at Starbucks. Thank you again and you've been spotted
I am really in need of a tutor for the ontario real estate associate program! Are there any available? Someone who took the course and familiar what to study for? I took phase 1 thinking I did so well, only to find out I did not!! Please please anyone!!
To the person who stole my purse out of my van while I was playing with my grandson at the playground on the west side of Jackson Park between 10am-11am on 10-17-17. Thank you for ruining my day!!! I had a day planned with fun-filled activities which quickly changed to cancelling credit cards, calling the bank and now having to get my i.d. replaced. Was it worth the & lt;$20 you stole? I would pay more than that to have my personal property back! That purse was my favorite. Beware anyone parking at Jackson Park...even when you THINK there's nobody around...the thieves lurk!!! PURSE THIEF....you've been SPOTTED!
I stopped at McDonald's on Huron Church on my way home from work. The gentleman in front of me in the drive thru had paid for my order. What a nice way to end a crazy day!
Thanks stranger in the black pickup!
I'm going to have to pay it forward
I just want to give a shout out to the older man in oldcastle tonight who stopped to help a young man that fell off his bike. I wont lie, I automatically thought the worst. Young man, bloodied and bike down. My heart hurt, I turned into Tims to make sure he was okay, because, well, you had obviously hit him. But when I got there, and seen you comforting this young man, obviously shaken, and offering him and his bike a ride home, my grimace turned to a grin. As I found it wasnt you that had hit him, just his tires catching the curb, I'm relieved to know that someone else had come to his help prior to myself finding him in the aftermath of it.
Thank you for stopping.
Thank you for caring for his wellbeing and comforting him.
Thank you for making sure he got home safely to his family, as they may have almost lost him to the crazy Walker Rd 3:30p traffic.
Just so you know, you've been spotted.
Earlier this week my sister left her cell phone on a bench outside Met Hospital. A woman found the phone and called my number telling me she had the phone. She was kind enough to take the phone to the room on the oncology floor where my sister was visiting our family member. We just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to bring it to the room. It was a stressful week and you relieved one of those stressors.
October 10th is my dads birthday.
The father I have lost due to cancer.
Everyday I wonder what it would be like having my dad around.
In this particular day, October 10th I went to sobeys and I do not eat meat much, but I was going to be grilling it for my bf, and family, I asked the man to help me pick out the best meat and how to cook it. He explained in full detail and spend countless minutes with me. Aside from that I felt a connection on being so thankful that I did not have these answers to ask my dad being a man figure he was so nice and patient with me. Little did he know all of this, he made me very happy knowing that there is always some man, whether a stranger, to help. And I thank him for that.
