Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To the male (you neither deserve to be called a gentleman or man for that matter), with the British accent, at the Windsor Train Station parking lot, Oct. 29th; In case you didn't notice at the time the lot was full and the through lanes to get around were blocked by other cars. I was not parked. I was stuck and had no where to go. I was there to pick up my daughters and was trying to keep my eye out for them as well as navigate the mess in the lot. Your aggressive approach and verbal attack were not warranted and were incredibly ignorant. Screaming at me to move my fn car and get out of your fn way just showed your lack of maturity and made me feel sorry for the woman that was with you. You are obviously a bully and expect people to jump when you scream at them. Unfortunately I'm not that person and I fight back. I hate bullies!! On the upside you did provide me with a great example to use with my daughters when explaining the difference between a real man a petulant child. Grow up and learn how to behave!!
To the people that may comment that I'm publicly shaming someone here is my response to you. This man angrily approached my vehicle and verbally attacked me (a woman alone in her car) and I can't let that go. I keep thinking what if it was my teenage daughter alone in the car and this happened. How much farther would he have taken it because she wouldn't have answered back. She would have been afraid that a grown man was aggressively approaching her for no reason. People like him need to know this behaviour IS NOT OK!!
My son lost his wallet with all his important ID's as well as cash in it about 2 weeks ago in Windsor. Upon checking the mail today I discovered his wallet with everything in it!! A huge Thank You to the very honest person who took the time to send it to him!
At approximately 3:00 pm Saturday Oct 28th I was crossing with the light in my wheelchair @ Lauzon Rd & St Rose & was hit. The car is very bright white with darker tinted windows all around. I'm glad he was just rolling & not accelerating. He didn't attempt to get out of his car,by time my wheelchair scraped the front end of his car to get off the road to the sidewalk he was gone & I've no idea what direction he drove off to. I was crossing to NW corner travelling towards the river & he was facing East. .if anyone saw anything please reply. My left arm got crushed between my chair & his car & is sore other than that I'm ok. Thank you Creator for watching over me.
To Marc the owner of Blondie cleaners! Thank you so much! I sent my husbands dry cleaning in the other day and forgot to pick it up, didn't realize until late Saturday night. I was panicking because they are closed Sundays and we were leaving Sunday for vacation (all of my husbands clothes were there). I sent them an email not really expecting anyone to respond but Marc the owner sent me a message shortly after and met me (after his night shift as a paramedic) at the store to pick up the clothes. So I want to say thank you for taking your time to help us, when you really didn't have to. What a kind generous person.
This may not seem like a big deal to some people but it means so much to us, considering all his clothes where there. So thank you thank you thank you!!
Spotted, You paid for our dinner tonight at Swiss chalet on Walker. I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just wanted to hug you, but we were so choked up and you left right away. It's been a very overwhelming couple of weeks for me personally and just 2 days ago I decided to take an unpaid leave of absences from work to be with my four children. They have also been through a lot. My husband and their dad was hit by a car in spring 2014 and life has just not been the same. On damp rainy days like tonight he's in tons of pain. So we decided neither of us wanted to make dinner. I was kinda on the fence about spending money on eating out as we really are saving for Christmas. But out of no where you paid for our dinner, you didn't have to as we were probably the largest table there at that time. There was many other smaller families you could have chosen. I am truly blessed that you choose us. I was in tears for abit and now as I am writing this. My children are in total shock and extremely grateful of your kind heart. It's been along time since they have seen mommy tear up for a good reason. I hope you see this and know how much you made us have a wonderful start to the weekend. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Would like to thank the person ahead of me at Tim Horton's Drive Thru that graciously paid for my order around 5 pm Thursday. Thank you so much.. I will play it forward.
To the awesome person in front of me at the Starbucks drive thru today on Tecumseh Rd: You made my day by paying for my coffee, as the barista said, in celebration of your new job. All the best to you in your new chapter! Thank you for spreading some kindness for no other reason than to share your joy 😊☕
