Missing

My cat got out during my move on Nov. 25th. She is long haired grey and white. She is skittish of noises and strangers. She got out in the area of Hall and Wyandotte. Please share. I am so worried about her not being warm enough even though she has long fur she doesn't have a winter coat built up. She is probably hungry too.

To the amazing police officer and strong girl

To the police offer who accompanied a young girl into ER today- you pulled at my heart strings. You didn't have to tell her things would get better or try to relate that you understand how hard life is. You didn't have to take time to try and tell her a joke and make her laugh. I know from experience that sometimes professional struggle dealing with people in crisis but I know that world is a better place with you as a police officer in it.

To the young girl. Things will get better. I wanted to badly to tell you that; although it is not my place. I have struggled for so long and am finally in a place where I can tell my story. Reach out to people around you (they looked like a fun group) and know that times may be tough, but you are tougher.

Happy couple and employee Stephanie at Shoppers last night.

This is just a shout out to the really happy couple and Stephanie at Shoppers Tec at Howard maybe a little before 4am last night. You never see couples laughing joking and happy with each other like these two were. Employee Stephanie is a fun character and has to be a huge asset to the store.
The combo of these three made for the end of a really good night. Keep it going. :)

Good people

Last Saturday my wife unknowingly lost her broken phone case at Costco gas pumps. She didn't notice it until she was in the strip mall across the street. This may not sound like such a big deal but it was one of those phone cases that had a flap to hold credit cards/ ID. Returning to the pumps the attendant said no one had turned it in to him but it may have been turned in at the store. As the store was already closing she returned home and called the first of the two cards that were in it to report them lost. While on hold she received a call from the manager to inform her that someone did indeed turned it in and would be locked up for the night. Returning to the store the next morning she got it back with everything in tact. She asked that manager if the person who turned it in left their name. Her reply was the good ones never do, so if you're reading this and are the good one who turned it in Thankyou, thank you very much!!

DEAR WOMAN PICKING UP HER KIDS

To the woman picking up her kids outside of Brennan today on Raymo at 3:45 in the dark blue dodge caravan. PULL OVER ALL THE WAY TO THE CURB SO THAT CARS ARE NOT BACKED UP BEHIND YOU UNABLE TO GET AROUND DUE TO THE NARROW STREET. THEN ONCE YOUR KIDS ARE FINALLY IN YOUR CAR AND THE LIGHT AHEAD IS GREEN DO NOT PROCEED TO MOVE 3 INCHES AND THEN STOP TO TALK TO SOMEONE OUTSIDE. We waited a total of 2 minutes for you to load your kids and all their stuff into your trunk. You did not pull over far enough so we had to wait behind you. Mind you by the time we pulled up you were already out of your car so I could only imagine how long you were there for. We couldn't get around you which then caused a (as far as I could count) 6 car back up. The guy behind me tried to pass ME and get around the both of us but almost got hit by an oncoming car (that guy was stupid but still) then once you finally got your kids into the car and reveresed ALMOST HITTING MY CAR and came back onto the road when the light 10 feet ahead of you turned green, all the cars in front of you proceeded to go through the light you STOPPED, rolled down your window and talked to a kid on the sidewalk. IM THE WOMAN WHO HONKED MY HORN 8 TIMES AT YOU.

Are you really under the impression that you are so entitled that you block traffic, move 3 inches and then stop to block traffic all over again. You and I made it through the light but the 6+ cars you made wait down Raymo DID NOT. Thank your child for giving me the finger as well, it showed me really what type of mother you are if I couldn't already guess.

Move your car to the curb when you pull over. Raymo is used by people who aren't picking their children up from Brennan, but are just trying to get home from work and don't need their car side swiped in the process.

Act of kindness

It's barely 10AM and this morning has been brutal for all of us at the office. I miraculously found some time to swing out to Tim's. We all agreed we could use it! Our order was over $17 and I get to the window and IT'S PAID! It's not a ton, but also not a small bill and it meant A LOT. I didn't get your name dude, but really, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! That was so sweet and entirely unnecessary, but so appreciated & lt;3
