Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To all the workers at Tim Hortons on Dougall & Tecumseh, you are so pleasant in the mornings and always have kind words for me and my mom. Thank you for being who you are:) It can be hard working with the public, I know because I do too and friendliness and smiles go along way!
Thank YOU
You have been spotted
Area of banwell to lesperance and Tecumseh to riverside. Her name is Chloe and we are desperate to find her.
I wanted to send out a BIG thank you to the, not 1, not 2, but 3 men that helped me when I was stuck in the snow on Thursday! I work at the Humane Society and was working emergency response that night. Had they not given me that push, I wouldn't have been able to save animals! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
To the boys getting ready for a hockey game and while they ran the laps one kid is pushing a boy in wheel chair. All his friends are running right long side him and the boy in the chair is getting high fives, cheering and having the time of his life. These teams are so competitive, to see something like that was amazing. Also to see young children do it and be so nice also including this boy in the wheel chair literally made me tear up.
To the pretty lady with the amazing eyes, who speaks french and worked the score clock at my sons Broomball game today...I've noticed you for the last two years now and just thought I'd let you know that each time I do it makes my day!
Someone who thinks you're amazing
Yesterday I got on the South Windsor 7, which was unusually on time. As this bus passes the massive Herb Gray construction project it is always late. Not a problem I expect it. I had to transfer from that bus to the 1C. That bus runs every 15 mins. But was 15 mins late yesterday. I understand that the bus passes two high schools and at 3:30pm it gets very busy. But transit Windsor is aware of this. Why is it they do not add an extra bus at this time so that their regular bus can run on time? It is not fair to raise bus fairs and leave your customers waiting in the cold. Transit Windsor you have been spotted! Fix what needs to be fixed!
Spotted : to this girl and her parents. Thank you returning my wallet. I sent a gift with your dad for you Jessica. Hope you enjoy it.
Signed
A grateful man
Please Help !!! I had my house broken into on Friday January 10th. I live on Lillian Avenue near Erie Street. As of this moment I've "only" noticed a few things missing, but I'm still busy checking :( My two cameras - one is an Olympus E520, (large black camera) and my smaller Fujifilm FinePix F10, 6.3 Mega Pixels (silver) were taken, but more importantly - two irreplaceable pieces of jewellery. My deceased fathers ring - a gold ring (looks silver from years of wear) with a larger diamond in the middle, surrounded with 3 or 4 smaller diamonds on each side - I believe my dads name was engraved (ERIK) . Also a necklace my dad gave me before he passed away. It's a gold necklace with a pendant in the shape of a small glass ball. Inside it has a floating diamond. It's very unique. The two pieces of jewellery are irreplaceable to me. They are the ONLY two keepsakes I have as a reminder of my dad. I can't describe how heartbroken I am, that you would take these from me. - For what ?? - For you to buy crack?? The sentimental value they have to me, far outweighs any street value they would have for you. To me they meant everything.
I've been unemployed for a year now and as you probably noticed when you broke into my house I don't have a pot to p... in. You took the only things that meant anything to me. The reminders of my dad, and my wedding present - the camera. You smashed my door which I will now have to replace, - as you probably noticed I really didn't need that added expense either. Things are tough enough for me as they are.
If anyone comes across any of the stolen items - in particular my fathers ring and my necklace, please let me know.
