Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
I have been to many vets in windsor over the last 20 years. I have always found it hard to find a very knowledgeable vet that knew up to date information on current practice. Many vets answered questions very vaguely. I currently switched my vet to Tecumseh animal hospital. They are the complete package there! My vet Dr. MacKenzie is very smart and up to date with all current practice. I dare someone to try to stump him with a question. He is friendly, awesome with your furry baby and takes the time with you to answer all your concerns. I saw dr. Thomson in an emergency situation and she was great also. From the moment they answer the phone they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I HIGHLY recommend them if you want the best care.
This morning our gate was accidentally left open and the big guy, Buddy, got out. He was gallivanting around east Windsor for about an hour and half. To my dear friend Christel who I woke up to come and help me with the search, you've been spotted! Thank you for waking up out of a dead sleep to help me find my dear Buddy. To the lady from down the street who put her dog back in the house and went on the hunt for Buddy, you've been spotted - Thank you!. To the lady walking her giant husky in the forested area near Wyandotte and Riverdale, you have been SPOTTED! Your decision to take your dog out on this -8C morning is one I can't thank you enough for. Buddy loves Huskies for some reason, and had you not been walking who knows how much farther he would have run and what could have happened. Thank you for being a great dog owner and walking your pooch! Last but not least, to my little Abby (the little one in the pic, you've been spotted for having a super nose. She is nearly 7 years younger than Buddy and when I put the car away and decided to walk looking for him, she put her nose to the ground and pulled me in the right direction, seemingly right to him. Clearly, I wish I would have done that in the first place... So to all of you, You have been spotted! You're great people with good hearts, I can't thank you enough for your efforts!
To everyone else, give your animals a hug and remember to close the gate. :-)

Wow all I can say is wow...the older woman was grabbing her things from her shopping cart and dropped her coffee, not only did you help her put her stuff on the bus but you also went inside and bought her a new coffee! You have been spotted! This here just proves that not all bus drivers are rude...there are a few out here like this guy!
Spotted this black eyed chickadee trying to escape winter..

I am an employee at WRH Ouellette Campus formerly HDGH. My transition from HDGH to WRH has been filled with questions about the future; a feeling of loss, uncertainty, excitement and optimism. I am not sure what the future holds but I do love it when they play music when a baby is born! I have been told that eventually I won't even notice and just go on with my day. I hope that day never comes because for now I am amazed, excited and awed to share in that experience. For the three babies born on 01-16-14 on my shift Happy Birthday!!!
I'd like to thank video duct heating and cooling for giving such good service when my heat broke down I needed a furnace replaced at 3:00 pm and they did it so I wasn't cooled that night
To my waitress at the Fox and the Fiddle on Walker Road...you've been spotted by me! I was there tonight for dinner and thought you did an excellent job, I truly felt for you when you lost tables to a larger group in another section which basically meant a hit to your potential earnings. I tried to leave you a decent tip because I saw the look in your eyes and know how important it is to have people to serve.
To help further...to anyone looking to give one of Windsor's newest restaurants a try I highly recommend this cute and sweet young lady, ask for her by name (Hailey), she did a fantastic job while I was there and I'm sure she will appreciate the chance to win you over!
I hope this small gesture helps you out :-)
I was waiting in the lounge for my porter flight back to Windsor (Toronto airport). I typically don't keep my wallet on me, I keep my passport and some cash in case of an emergency. My wallet and cards stay in my checked luggage. I was going to purchase a sandwich and when I went up to pay they told me they only take credit or debit... no cash. I was unaware of this so I put my sandwich back and started to walk away. This lady next inline told me to wait a minute. She grabbed the sandwich and water I put back and said she will pay for it. I didn't even think to ask someone to do that for me and id just give them my cash. When I went to hand her the $10, she said no thanks. I again asked her to please take it, I insist. She turned to me smiled and said, I saw you earlier give your comfy chair up for the older lady who couldn't find a seat because the waiting room was packed. So many delayed flights. So because you did that, I insist you don't worry about paying me.
This lady is from Ottawa, I just want you to know how grateful I am for covering my meal while we waited.
You have been spotted, and I know you will see this because I was telling about this site before you boarded the plane.
