Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Today I spotted Van's traveling down walker rd turning into GFX with NO License plates ...How illegal is that...What if they hit someone..WOW that would be a mess..Dealerships have dealer plates but they only had a dealer plate on 1 van out of 4...Smarten Up ppl..Next time I see something like this I will take a pic of it & turn it into the police..They as in Chrysler Dealership has already been busted on this matter about a year ago & here they are doing it AGAIN....
The picture says it all...
Glad no one has to use sidewalks....by the way...there is a parking spot other side of the street!
My elderly mother was shopping at M.R. Meats and Fred's Produce yesterday. When she was done her shopping, she packed her trunk with her purchases from the Produce store, but accidentally left her grocery bag full of meat in the shopping cart. With her hard-earned money, she had purchased a couple of steaks, some sausage and some lunch meat. She realized a short time later that she didn't have her meat purchases, and went back to both stores.
No one had turned in her bag of groceries. My mom, a widow living only on pension benefits, hopes that the person who stole her groceries really needed it more than she did...
My Husband lost his wallet somewhere on Rivard street between Rose and Grandview. If anyone has found it please kindly return it. It contains all of his ID. Its green Velcro. Thanks.
As I was driving down Walker rd this morning We were driving behind Van's coming from Chrysler Dealer to Ground Effects....Well Not 1 But 3 of the van's had NO license plates on them..Which means that those drivers are driving on the road with NO insurance, No Plates NOTHING...How is this right..What gives them the right to drive on the roads ILLEGALLY..If they can why can't you or I ...
I am writing this post on behalf of Arnie & Marcy McCallum.
Arnie would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to call the children big and small that have enjoyed his books. You have all enriched his life with the special little stories you have shared with him during his career. There have been a couple of posts on here over the last week regarding Arnie and he is very touch by your kind words.
If you are reading this and do not know who Arnie is....he is a local childrens author with a heart of gold. He loves the see the childrens faces light up from his stories and often gives them little gifts to entice them to read.
Thank you Arnie for all you do....you bring a smile to so many people everyday. Keep up the good work.
Although this did not occur in Windsor, I think it is an amazing idea and our city should learn from it with all of the students and adults who walk to work and school. To the thoughtful people who took the time to start this, you have been spotted! A scarf would've been useful today :)
To the 1C driver around 6 pm tonight heading west on Tecumseh, near Howard. You saw my friend and I standing in the cold at the 1A stop and picked us up anyway. We never expected you to stop for us, but we were surprised and very happy that you did. Thank you, you are a gem. The chilly couple
