Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Monday, February 3rd between 11:30am and 1pm.
I was grocery shopping at the Zehrs on Tecumseh and Lauzon with my cousin. I was too busy talking about cake when you walked by us the first time.
The second time, I moved our cart out of the way so you could go by in the tea isle. You said "thanks". I replied "no problem".
I have the dark hair, leather jacket and glasses. You had the nice smile, leather jacket, buzzed haircut that is just starting to show some silver. We're guessing late 20's, early 30's.
If this is you, give me a shout.
Thanks.
Thank you to the kind man who took his time to review his dashcam and taking the time to come back to my work on Princess and Tecumseh to give me the licence plate number of the jerk who decided to swerve and hit a puddle to purposely soak me while i was outside taking photos of cars for my job on Saturday, you have been appreciably spotted :) & To the jerk who thought it was funny to purposely swerve and hit that puddle, even though you soaked me I was able to save my bosses expensive camera, I could've called the cops and have you charged but I believe in karma, I hope you got a good laugh, cause I was smiling just as much when that kind man came in with your licence plate number and reminded me even though jerks like you exist there is still good in this world :) you've been spotted :) thank you again.
Spotted at the Tec. Rd E Harveys -
Kudos to the staff here after having to endure the harassment and vulgarity spewed forth by a customer who made a scene this afternoon in front of me, my family members and other patrons. You guys kept your cool and "made it right" for her - I would have asked her to promptly leave the establishment. She obviously wasn't getting enough attention today, hasn't learned how to behave herself in the "grown up" world, and decided that trashing you guys loudly, rudely and unjustifiably was the right thing to do. We were disgusted by her behavior - and she continued to be loud and disruptive throughout our meal. You guys, on the other hand, handled the situation as professionals. Good job handling a bad situation Harvey's Guys..
The speed on the EC Row is not 75. Please take note.
To the little Fiat driver...
My husband and boys were outside on the road where we park our vehicles clearing away the ice and water that froze us in yesterday. As they were doing so, and might I add they were not in the middle of the road, they were off to the side of our road, they moved out of your way as you were coming down our road, as well as a van coming in the opposite direction. You looked right at me in the eyes, and so carelessly speed up, almost slid and hit the oncoming van and spinning out almost hitting my husband, kids and myself who was watching all this happen. If you would have hit that van you would have done serious damage to innocent children who were just happy to be helping their dad in doing work outside. I hope that you learn to slow down and drive more careful from now on before you hurt someone. Just because you have a smaller vehicle does not mean you can weave in and out of places recklessly.
Sincerely,
A thankful wife and mother.
To the person who randomly decided to clear the snow off my car and thought it was going to go unnoticed, it didn't. Thank you for doing that for me. It saved me sometime and kept me warm.
I went to pull something out of my wallet when I got home after dinner and realized I didn't have it. When i called around to where I had been earlier that day and no luck. I was very bummed and didn't know what to do. Suddenly I get a call from Canadian Brewhouse where I was earlier that night. They went to have a second look for my wallet and couldn't find it. When they went back to the bar they saw a lady turning one in and that's when they called me. To the red head that turned it in, thank you so much for saving me the time and trouble of getting all my ID all over again.
So happy good people still exist!
