I have noticed that charles clark square is scheduled to open any day now for outdoor skating. Does anyone know if a date has been set, I heard it could possibly be this weekend! Fingers crossed it is!
Spotted: To the inconsiderate and rude thieves that helped themselves to my Toro snow blower that was on the back of my pick up truck. Just when I needed it the most, you stole it. I am a small snow removal company that is trying his best to make a living for my family.. I would like to say thanks alot and God sees the wrong your doing...
to my awesome neighbour on Seminole.....thank you so much for shoveling my driveway every single time its snowed so far this winter. It is awesome to come home after a long day to a clear driveway and sidewalk. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is truly appreciated. Thank you again Mr. G...you know who you are....

This LITTLE GIRL (Aubri) and her family NEED OUR HELP as the injustices of corporate greed have once again affected her family in the midst of her unfortunate battle with cancer!! Aubri is comforted by a good old fashioned bowl of chicken noodle soup!! In honour of this, our chef is excitedly creating a fresh batch of it next Tuesday morning (Feb. 11th). We will have the soup available until Saturday and 100% of the proceeds will go to Aubri's family to help offset the enormous financial burdens they are facing as a result of her dad's benefits being cut off because they are not living under the same roof (she had to move to Alberta to get treatments not offered in Ontario)!!! A donation jar will also be available for those who wish to give more. As parents of a little girl the same age as Aubri, we cannot imagine the pain this family is facing and it really hits us close to home. Please do not hesitate any longer to show your love and support to them. We are going to make a lot of soup but if you would like to order ahead of time please call 519-326-4871 (Chef Eddie would appreciate it;). Please SHARE this with your friends. We look forward to seeing you next week!!!…in the meantime, please keep Aubri and her family in your thoughts and prayers .
May God keep Aubri, her family and friends safe and strong through this difficult chapter. You are in our daily prayers!!
You have been spotted: To the wonderful people travelling in the storm on Wednesday on county rd 22 around 11 am, thank you so much for stopping and helping my daughter out of her vehicle after she slid on ice and flipped on to its side... She is fine and I am thankful to those who took care of her... The tow truck company taking advantage of a young woman ... Not so much
I want to spot my next door neighbours. Who not only know its hard for me to shovel being home alone all day with small children, but shoel their half of our shared driveway onto my side to make it that much harder when I do get out there. They also say "oh that sucks" when they see my car get stuck, and then go inside and ignore my predicament, not once, but twice. Good karma guys, especially when I've been nothing but a quiet, friendly neighbor.
Kudos to the guy up the street who pushed me out with his jeep after seeing me struggle for almost 45 minutes of being stuck.
This is how good LaSalle snow plows are, had to go out at 1am and shovel it and I had to miss work today because my back.
They put 31" of snow infront of my driveway. My suv couldn't even get out.
Today in Amherstburg, an hour ago I got stuck in the deep snow behind my girlfriends house, I drive a big 4x4 but I went through a ditch and the snow caught the bottom of my truck. After almost an hour of shoveling and gunning it and using her truck to pull me, I couldn't get out. Finally a service truck who has to plow the nearby service building pushed the snow out from in front of me and pulled me out with chains.
He saved my life, I am so grateful, I tried to pay him but he told me to pay it forward. Thank you service man!
