Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
To whoever goes door to door on Rankin ave asking if we would like our snow shovelled.. I really appreciate it but I am a student and really don't have much money so if I can do it myself to save money, then I will. There is no need to be rude to whom ever turns down your services. I know you are trying to make money but i should not have to feel obligated to pay someone to remove my snow. To the rude and pushy man that offers to shovel our snow on rankin, youve been spotted.
I just want to Thank my Wonderful Son for always shoveling our Sidewalk and Porch.I can't ask for a kinder and Thoughtful son,,Thanks Bud ( Robert ) xoxo & lt;3
To the elderly gentleman driving a beige van on West Grand this morning,
Thank you for pointing out that my car was sticking out of my driveway. Your multiple honks were definitely necessary, as I didn't already have my four ways on, and wasn't already working to dig myself out.
Maybe next time you could see if I needed any help, like the teenage girl who offered to help push my car.
Once again, thanks for honking!!

This is for an Employee that helped me out when my son was sick in the entrance way of Devonshire Mall Theatre. I'm not sure of his name now, maybe "Tyler"..
We were walking into the theatre and my son surprised me and said he didn't feel good. He threw up and I had no idea he was even sick. My son is 4 and barely sniffles if he has a cold.
I asked the attendant for some help. I stood at the "scene" to avoid anyone going near It. When the fella came to clean it up I apologized for the mess and he said with a smile, "it's OK, it's part of the job". I said I feel bad for you, that's an unpleasant part of the job. He looked at my son offered him some water and joked, "Did u have pasta... I don't like pasta either". He cleaned it up with no attitude or disgust. I reported his Candor to his Manager and I applaud his good nature in this situation. I was amazed at his great personality and hope he was rewarded for his Team Work and AWESOME Customer Care. You have been Spotted! Thanks :)
To the person who finds my $5.00 bill the flew out of my hand and over the fense at the Tim Horton Drive thru on Tecumseh and Crawford. Please remember to pay it forward with it. Even if it's small. Finding that $5.00 made your day. Now pay it forward and make someone else's with it. :-) Have a wonderful day.
Ryan you have been spotted. My son had to go pick up his friend from the Detroit airport and asked for my car. I had no issue with giving him my car till i saw that he was planning to drive in the blizzard that was going on this evening Driving on Huron Church was very bad, all lanes were hidden and the US roads were even worse. He drove slowly and very carefully and brought us back safe and sound. When we reached home while shoveling the driveway ( note at 11pm at night ) on Feb 17th 2014 he asked me if I had spotted the car sliding i said No and I was glad he did not tell me as I was scared as it was of the roads. so thank you Ryan for being a very safe and patient and good driver in the snow. Just as an fyi my son is under 25 so as insurance companies say he is in the high risk category. i am very proud of him and his safe driving skills. He drove slow and was very careful. I did not even need to remind him to drive slow
Thank you Ryan and i am very proud of you
Love a proud mother of a safe and good driver
I would like to say a huge thank you to the Red Cross Disaster Response Unit. I was burned out of my home this summer from a fire that broke out in my building. 2 ladies from this unit stayed half the night with me at the hospital. Further, the Red Cross blanket that you gave me was more appreciated than you can imagine...it was all I had for comfort. Not only that, this unit paid for me to stay in a hotel for 3 days, all meals included, gave me a voucher for McDonald's to get something to eat before arriving at the hotel, paid the taxi fare, and also provided me with a voucher for Wal-Mart to purchase some clothing, as I left my home with the clothes on my back. I also want to say thank you to the cab driver for patiently waiting while I was in getting some food, as well as the paramedics on site who pulled me out of my smoke-filled home, and the staff at Hotel-Dieu for their compassion. Had it not been for all of you, I don't know what would have happened...I had only been living in this city a few short months, and with no friends/ family here, I don't know where I would have gone. It was an unfortunate way to spend my birthday, but all of you made a horrible situation a lot easier to contend with. You have all been spotted.
