Went to the Windsor Public Library today on Ouellette Avenue with my daughter. She was so excited because when she goes, she picks out her own books and movies. We got the movies and books and with a big smile on her face went to the counter. Once we got there, we were told that the computers were down and had to go to the self serve counter. We get there and my card wouldn't go through because it expired. The worker then said she couldn't fix my card because the computers were down so my daughter wasn't able to bring anything home with her. So I wonder how many other kids were turned away today because the computers were down. You would think they would have some type of back up plan when this happens. This is the 2nd time I've been disappointed in this library. 3 strikes your out!!!
To the 20-something man walking his BIG dog off-leash at 3:30pm today at the Ford Test Track, you have been spotted! It was awful how your dog ran up to the woman with the little dog (who had her dog ON the leash) and when she asked you to please leash your dog, you told her to shut up. I was running on the track and had to stop as I approached your dog because I was afraid that it would chase me if I went past. There is now a DOG PARK inside the Ford Test Track, so if you really have to have your dog off-leash, please go there so the rest of us can enjoy the area without being afraid!

I lost my Samsung Galaxy 3 Tablet yesterday while out and about - possibly in a Checker Cab? (It was not turned in at the cab company). It has a lime green case on it.
If anyone finds it - it would be greatly appreciated! I use it to connect with family and friends as I don't have a cell phone.
Thank you wonderful Windsorites!

A friend and I took a fanboat over to Windsor's Peche Island just to see what it was like in the dead of Winter.
A lot of interesting birds are over their... Bald Eagles, Owls, Swans, Herons, ducks as well as beavers.
It was pretty wild, here is a link to the video.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to Windsor Spitfires tough guy Ty Bilcke. We attand alot of games and everytime during warm up I always notice him "accidently" flipping the puck over the boards, sneaking a few pucks from the bench and handing them to young fans and always shooting a quick wink or wave from the penalty box. I'm sure you've made many kids their day from a simple gesture. Nice to know the tough guy has a huge heart for young fans. Not taking anything away from the rest of the team but I appreciate the extra effort, #79 you've been spotted and keep up the good work.
