People begging for money..I used to give and now I try to avoid because we all weren't born rich and all have to work for our money..and sometimes the people asking for money have all day to sit around with their signs and are better dressed than myself which is the reason I stopped handing anyone $..anyhow this morning at 6:30am (on my way to work) on the corner of I believe crawford and univeristy a middle aged guy waved me down..(i was stopped at a red light or else i would've drove off being a young 30 yr old woman and also you never know nowadays what someone is capable of)..so yeah, i unrolled my window a smidge and offcourse he was asking for $ , had a whole sob story saying he was fropm essex and needed to get a bus home..ok whatever true or not i wouldn't go anywhere away from home without a penny..sooo i was like ok i will quickly check(i do still have a heart), well then he was like you know a $20 would be good! I was like excuse me , or a $5..beggers can't be picky.(.and I have 2 little babies at home..the $ that I go make I use for my children(diapers, formula, clothes, etc)..I said no not 20, i will see what I have, and gave him as much change i could quickly grab and he took it and started counting ...his first story was hes from essex has no $ has to get a bus, then when he asked for a specific amount of $ he also said you know I could get a coffee as well!!.....What the heck, I was trying to be a nice person and to have someone take $ count it and then say well that won't get me too far!!!! wow!! I said well you know it is something i didn't have to give you anything..count your blessings..he went off saying well i guess its better than nothing!!!! Shake my head at you..after that now I think you were for sure lying and probably needed that $ for something else (alcohol, drugs, etc)with that rotten attitude! Be thankful for what anyone will give you, because they definetly do NOT have to.!
found a camera with multiple SD cards, loaded with family pictures and graduations...describe it if its yours
As we know, St paddy's day has just passed. And with that, sending a spotted to anyone who may have picked up my jacket my mistake! Black bench coat with fur collar, it had my drivers license and health card in the pocket. Would greatly appreciate it off anyone has spotted it! Last seen at Manchester
To the gentleman that helped me push my car off to the side of the road today after it had broke down, thank you so much! I had been sobbing on the phone for a good ten minutes without any clues as to what to do!
Thanks to the driver on riverside drive headed east this morning just before noon... you saw a man limping across the road with a small dog under his arm, yet you still felt the need to accelerate and blast your horn at him....almost giving him a heart attack and terrifying the dog.... hope that never happens to you or your family members
