Just wanted to say thank you to ABC Jefferson for their awesome support in wearing purple today for epilepsy awareness..Not only did the staff all wear purple, when I brought my son into the room every child was wearing something purple,,,this really touched my heart,,it's very important to get the word out being that epilepsy is low grid on the charts for recognization and education,,so thank you ABC daycare ,,just another reason this daycare is the best.
I was just wondering if anybody knew of any places that are hiring?
Last Sunday while I was shopping at the Devonshire Mall I grabbed a quick sandwich at the Subway. I remember putting my purse on the back of my chair while I ate, cleaned up my garbage after I was finish and walked out.....leaving my purse hanging on the back of my chair in the restaurant. I got home and went to pay the pizza delivery guy at the door and couldn't find my purse. I suddenly panicked realising that I had left it somewhere....After a long sleepless night, wondering if someone had found it and handed it in to security I called the Subway and spoke with a very nice young lady and she told me that it was handed in and that it was in the back room at the restaurant. I was so thrilled to hear that someone cared and did the right thing. I was not lucky enough to find out who this person was that returned my purse but if you are reading this I have to tell you how thankful I am. Thank you so much. Joan W.
Spotted, the awesome students and instructors at St Clair College hairstyling department. Everytime I go in for a haircut or color or something, I always walk out with a smile and THRILLED with how my hair looks (and can't beat the price!) I also wanted to give a big virtual hug to my awesome stylist today, her name was Ji, and she did a PHENOMENAL job on my hair!
Thanks so much Lou Ann, Marci, Kim and everyone in the hairstyling department, you've been SPOTTED!
If anyone wants a great cut or color and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg, please call them, you WON'T be disappointed! The number is 519 966 1656 extension 4391, feel free to tell them that Julia "spotted" them!

Thank you to David for your random act of kindness tonight (March 25, 2014). My friend and I were struggling to get her car out after it had gotten stuck on a snowbank and you came out from your house to check. Thank you for helping push the car and going out of your way by going back home to get your shovel.
You are the kind of person that this city needs more of. I hope we see you again. We owe you coffee. For now, we will pay the kindness forward.
Sincerely,
Two grateful nursing students.
Spotted: a customer who thought must be so miserable about her own life that she has to put others down, specifically a worker who was only trying to help. Just because you didn't like what you were told and didn't save the dollar you expected doesn't give you the right to tell someone to go to hell. Shame on you and anyone else who treats workers or anyone for that matter badly. There is a way to communicate concerns/ problems and shame on anyone who feels they have the right to put them down. Perhaps you should try to work in retail for a day and maybe you would learn to have a lot more understanding, patience and respect for yourself and others.
