Stuck in the snow

To the 2 random strangers who stopped to help me dig my escape out of the driveway on St Luke this morning, Thank you!! My husband injured his back shoveling snow a few days ago, and I am 5 months pregnant. You saw us struggling to get out, and stopped to help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am positive that we couldn't have done it alone, and I made it to work (almost) on time! It warms my heart to know that there are still good people out there.

an amazing human being

This is for a lady name Chris Cook.
Although I don't know you but I admire you and respect you so much. For the past year everytime I check facebook, windsor buy and sell, pay it forward windsor all I see is how you're always trying to help not just the homeless but anyone that needs help. Around Christmas time you asked for and collected donations for the homeless and the poor, you went out of your way to pick it up and deliver it to the mission and just whoever need it,and you're still going.
I ask everyone to join me to THANK this amazing soul for her hard work, and to let her know that me and everyone in windsor appreciate her for just being a great human being.

THANK YOU, and GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Amber L from Telus made my experience such a positive one!!

So two nights ago my iPad and iPhone were stolen out of my bag after a six hour streetcar ride in Toronto when I was completely exhausted and just wanted to get home. Not only did I lose two of the only possessions I own, but I lost most of my dignity as well and ended up having to move home with my parents for a while to start building things up again. Anyway, long story short, Amber L from to come see mall Telus, not only feel like such a victim or loser, but she actually gave me words of hope and shared some personal experiences of her own that she had gone through similar to mine, making me feel not so alone. Now onto business, what should've been a dreadful visit, ended up being pretty freaking fun and Amber is an absolute delight to deal with. We laughed a lot we got a lot done, and she stayed within the budget that we desperately needed to remain under. I come from retail, so I know how hard it can be when a difficult customer comes in, and I'm not saying that I was difficult, but I was definitely sad and about to erupt into tears at any minute and she made sure that didn't happen and kept the conversation on point and in a positive direction. Any boss of hers that is reading this, that kind of retail service cannot be taught. That is ingrained in a person's are bringing. It is in valuable especially in the customer service industry. To anyone looking to be treated with respect and lots of laughs, go see Amber L at Telus in Tecumseh

Snow removal

I was out shoveling snow on Sunday Feb 11th, the snow was heavy as we had gotten freezing rain on top of 18.4 cm of snow. The snow was so high I was having a hard time lifting it up. The plow trucks were going down our street three times and berried the end of my drive way as I was trying to dig it out, my back , legs and arms were killing me, I looked up to see a plow with a shovel lift on it, to my surprise the driver came up to the drive way dropped his shovel and cleaned the end of my drive way. ty ty if I could have kissed you I would have, you made my day and made me feel special. I hope you see this and know you made someones day.

To the man with the big tractor!

I live in the Remington park area and all winter our streets barely get plowed! Which makes it very difficult for us to get in and out of our driveways (espeically with two smaller cars). This morning I woke up to a man in a big yellow tractor plowing our street! I thought he was getting paid to do this. But then a neighbour informed my fianc that this man is doing it for free! With his own tractor, own gas, and on his own time!

He covered our driveway at the end with a little snow bank.....so my fianc was outside shoveling it so he could get his car in the driveway....and this man even came back and shoveled the end of our driveway as well!

That was so nice of you! You don't know how much easier you have made it for us to be able to get in and out of our driveway without getting stuck and sliding around everywhere!

So to the man in Remington park on Sunday February 11th, THANK YOU! Thank you thank you thank you! You are very kind! We really appreciate it as do all of our neighbours!
