Marijas Place

To the gentleman that paid for our lunch this afternoon, thank you! I don't know who you are but this was the greatest random act of kindness. It brightened my day at a time when I needed it most. We really appreciate it and will be looking for an opportunity to pay it forward!

What has happened?

Spotted Windsor used to be full of great stories or important bad news. There used to be a certain journalist integrity in this website and page. Now garbage and gossip and bad parking jobs are being put up. What happened to quality control? You're killing something that seemed to have a chance to catch on.

Finders Doesn't Mean Keepers!

I was going to park at the McDonald's on Tec @ Lauzon this morning but I could see what looked like an e-reader in the middle of the parking space. I was about to get out of the car to pick it up so that I wouldn't run over it when I saw a man walking towards the building. I rolled down my window and asked him to pick it up for me so that I wouldn't run over it, and that I was going to turn it in at the counter. He picked it up and said that he would turn it in. When I went into the store, he was at the counter ordering, but I saw him put what looked like the reader into his pocket. When I got to the counter, I asked if an e-reader had been turned in. After checking with the other employees, the cashier said no. I can't believe that jerk kept it! I'm very disappointed that there are people like this.

Tecumseh man willing to help

On Thursday evening I was following my husband to bring his van to the mechanic to be repaired. When we stopped for the light at Lesperance and EC Row his van stalled and wouldn't start. Unfortunately I had our young children in the car and couldn't get out to help him as he struggled to push his van out of the intersection onto the shoulder of EC Row. One man finally stopped and helped him get the van to the shoulder. I did not get your name but your kindness will not be forgotten. Unfortunately the story does not end there. When i pulled over to the shoulder to assist my husband my van sunk into the mud and became stuck. So now we are both stuck on the side of the highway with two children and two vans that are not moving. Thankfully with a phone call my father and brother came out with no hesitation to give us a hand and for that we are extremely grateful. However it was the man who lived near by and saw the commotion from the window in his house. You sir were an angel. You stopped what you were doing and drove over to lend a hand to people you didn't even know. I am overwhelmed at the thoughtfulness this man had. You left the comfort of your home to lend a helping hand. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your thoughtfulness and caring personality will not be forgotten you are a wonderful person.
