Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
As a proud Canadian citizen and friend's of men who have served as REGULAR force Non Commission Member's I have spotted a problem which needs amending. I have never served for this country, but being a close friend of someone who has, I see the tremendous amount of pride taken in doing so. Needless to say the number of individuals in this city who I have spotted wearing their fatigues, when civilian attire is appropriate is despicable. This is not intended to harp on those who have enlisted as reservists enrolled in the Canadian armed forces but these are the ones who this is directed towards. Please stop being SPOTTED wearing your fatigues in a non duty environment .I have witnessed at 1 am at Caesar's Windsor and strolling the streets of Oullette, intoxicated individuals who are not following protocol. You are not serving this country as you should but the opposite. I don't know if this is to add to an element of your pickup game or to be cool but, to people who take pride in what the uniform stands for (CANADA), it is an embarrassing site. I, as a proud member of this country ask kindly that you follow the orders of the Queen and only wear your uniform when you are entitled. It is disrespectful to myself and even more so for those who have breasted the Canadian flag in battle. This isn't a joke. I have brought this to the attention of many regular force members who serve this country everyday and the disrespect which goes along with these actions is great. I thank every member of the Canadian armed forces for the duties they carry out on a daily basis, and am proud to say this is CANADA.
