As much as I prefer a positive note, unfortunately my experience this morning was the opposite. This morning as I sat on the couch in my Walkerville apartment I heard a 'pop' noise. I looked out of my window to see that some lovely commuter had clipped my drivers side mirror in passing, shattering it and breaking off the back casing, and all the while having no common decency to stop after doing so. Thanks for that. I thoroughly enjoy starting my Monday with having my property damaged with a side of being disrespected by you tucking your tail and carrying on. Now I get to pay for the fact that you, whoever you are, are an irresponsible driver. Because I have so much disposable income to waste. You see I work very hard to support myself, pay for my belongings, and be a responsible citizen. May I suggest you give it a whirl? Maybe next time you will hit a person instead. I'm sure you were in a hurry or needing to answer a text or something, leading you to hit my car and run. I'm sure whatever you were doing was much more important than being a decent human being. It's probably also safe to assume you're "that guy/ guy" who parks in two parking spots, opens his/ her car door into other vehicles, doesn't use turning signals, etc. judging by your stellar decision making. I hope your ability to get sarcasm is better than your ability to do the right thing. So thank you to whoever hit my mirror this morning. If you would like the back of your right side mirror back, I have it as well. I did take the time to go pick up the pieces- including yours.
Drive carefully people and be responsible for your actions. Others shouldn't have to pay for the fact that you can't be bothered to pay attention.
Sincerely,
The girl who used to enjoy a functional drivers side mirror.
