Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
Yesterday my son asked me what kind of clothes they wore in Ancient Egypt. We talked about it, and it got me thinking about my high school history classes.
I graduated from Riverside in 2003, and my history teacher for most of those years was Ms. Siddle. She was such an amazing teacher. She really knew what she was teaching, and you could tell that she was really interested in what she was teaching. I still have almost all of my notes and "cheat sheets" from her classes. I was a lazy high school kid. I skipped class and I just didn't want to be there. I recently learned that she is still at Riverside, teaching history, and I wish I could go back and learn from her now that I'm an adult. It's really the only thing that would ever make me want to go back to high school. Her whole class was dictation and note taking, but she made history interesting, and funny, and animated. Those classes were really something special and I'm thankful to have taken them. Any of you kids that have her for a teacher now, cherish her. There aren't too many teachers like her.
