Homeless man gets some amazing help yo go back to Scotland

Meet Steven a good hearted Smart kind homeless man. He has been on the streets of Windsor for the last 8 years but not by choice one bit. He was happily married with a young son, where they lived in Erie street for a few years. One day he went out for coffee came home to find no one home and the landlord changing the locks on him. Steven is a resident of Scotland and had no status here in Canada so when he found himself homeless he began the task of figuring out what to do and where to go. He went to the mission down town just to find out he was not welcome because he was a liability to them if something was to happen. Next was to try united way which someone said would be able to help but quickly came to find out that he was also not able to access help there. After many many other closed doors he found a way to get up to the embassy to get his emergency travel documents but yet when he got to the embassy he found out they could not take the check that was given to him from a local church. He than made his way back down to Windsor where again he began to try and get home. He made it to Toronto where he was dropped off and had to find his way again to the embassy and than to the air port, and everyone knows how hard it is to commute in Toronto. After running around all day he made it to the air port to find out he missed the plane by 12 minutes, again the door was closed in his face. Devastated he found his way back down to Windsor to live on the streets. One day we made contact with him at a local drop in centre and that's where it all began. Our family could not see him live on the streets for another day. We took him in, gave him a place to stay for a few weeks, feed him, and gave him some new clothing. Last night we drove to Toronto to go to the embassy and brought him to get his emergency travel documents. Right now we are sitting in the Toronto Pearson airport to make sure this amazing person gets home to his family that he hasn't seen for 13 years. None of this would have been possible without a strong family behind it. Krystal bell her daughters Sara, Lyndsey, and Rebecca. Also a special thanks to Little Glenn's moving delivery and private storage for paying for his flight, food, and a tablet so he can contact his family to make arrangements to get picked up! And also Brent for all the extra help and tying up loose ends.
