Tonite we dropped our daughter off for a sleepover at her friends house..as we arrived the other girls were looking for her dog that ran out the front door. My husband and I and the girls chased Buddy for quite a while. He was loving this run and chase, it was quite a game for Buddy, he was having fun. Unfortunately we could not catch him. An officer that was driving by pulled over and called this in to dispatch ..continued to help us follow Buddy to keep him safe while running. Eventually Buddy ran into a backyard which the officer locked the fence gate.. and they were able to grab him until Mom arrived mins later to bring him home from his late night escape. Thank you to the lakeshore/ Belle River officer who stopped to help us until Buddy was safe and sound at home :)
