Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings all around the world
As a frequent visitor to Jackson Park (by virtue of it making a nice shortcut) I am sick and tired of having my walks interrupted by this man on a bike and his dog. I know it's a public place and people can come and go as they please, but I see this man every single day (at all hours of the day) from when I go for my morning coffee run to when I come home from work at night--and I should note that this is 14 hours apart.
This would not be so bad if not for the fact that he accosts me every single day and makes me say hi to his dog. He follows me all the way through the park as if we are friends, but I assure you that we are most certainly not. I am, admittedly, not a particularly social person, and so I find this forced contact more annoying than most. But I do feel that walking with your head down and earphones in is a particularly obvious social cue, although with this man it apparently goes unnoticed.
What is this man's story and does he bother anyone else as much as he bothers me?
