Sunday morning a good Samaritan stopped to give a man hope and a hug when he felt he had lost everthing.
A young man on Ottawa street approached him to ask if he would call an ambulance. He lost his job, his wife, his house, and decided to overdose on something. The kind citizen called 911 and walked with him until he collapsed and sat next to him on the ground, crying myself. His mom, driving around looking for him, stopped her car, and came running over screaming and crying.
Chis, you extended you hand to this man and his family. As a mother myself, I pray that there are more people like you who will stop and pull someone in off that ledge, give them hope and kindness and a hug when I cannot. One day it may be my child.
